1. Dress one level up from how you would dress when carrying out the job, and no matter what you wear make sure it is all clean and freshly ironed.
2. Always provide a firm handshake, without breaking the fingers of your interviewer.
3. Put yourself in the interviewers shoes, what can you bring to their business, how will you improve their company?
4. Never speak negatively of past employers
5. Clean hair, teeth, fingernails and shoes!
6. On time generally means 5 minutes early, if you are not sure on the location then suss it out on the night before your interview, always have a contingency plan for the occasion when public transport lets you down.
